Seana Thompson

Seana performs with her sister, violinist Christina Thompson, as part of a trad-folk duo. Their repertoire encompasses arrangements of folk tunes and original compositions rooted in American, Celtic and Scandinavian traditions. 

 

Seana is also cellist in TIEG, a 9 piece orchestral folk band based in Los Angeles. Fronted by singer/songwriter Tieg Johnson, TIEG’s songs deliver both introspection and humor in lush, lyrical soundscape.

 

Additionally, Seana performs in various classical ensembles and contracts classical and folk musicians for concerts, weddings, and events.
